La Provence chef to serve up seminar

A highlight of the St. Tammany Master Gardener Association’s fall seminar, “September, the Second Spring,” will be a lunch and presentation by Erick Loos, the chef de cuisine of La Provence restaurant in Lacombe.

The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at Church of the King, 22205 Little Creek Road, Mandeville.

Loos said his topic, “Garden to Table,” describes his approach to cooking.

“I draw my inspiration from the garden,” he said.
